Relieved after getting cleared of cancer, actor Luis “Lucky” Manzano has decided to make his recent medical journey public, aiming to raise awareness on other types of cancer and the importance of early detection.

In a vlog uploaded through his YouTube channel, Luis shared that the reason why his hair does not look good in recent videos was because of the procedures he underwent.

Luis then consulted four doctors, who all noted that the lump “seems okay”. Still, the actor-host decided to go through a biopsy just to make sure that everything was fine. Eventually, he was cleared of cancer, though he was advised to undergo blood tests for confirmation.

Parang ang biopsy kung ‘di ako nagkakamali ay i-check kung cancerous or not or kung malignant or benign,” he disclosed in the video that was taken before he underwent biopsy.

Good thing, the celebrity vlogger got favorable results.

After getting a haircut as a “mini celebration”, he decided to share his journey through a vlog so others would also be aware of how a mole can lead into something serious.

Worse case scenario, it can be a form of skin cancer.’ ‘Yon lang, just to create awareness na may ganoon.”

Meanwhile, after thanking his viewers who prayed for him while watching the vlog, he encouraged everyone to say a prayer, as well, to cancer patients out there.

“Bukod sa mga gamot na kailangan nila, prayers can go a long way,” he noted.
