Good news! PUBG Mobile gamers can now enjoy driving some of the finest Koenigsegg Automotive AB hypercars through an awesome in-game opportunity brought by the second phase of the partnership between the popular mobile game and the world-famous car manufacturer.
“PUBG Mobile, one of the world’s most popular mobile games, is thrilled to announce another phase of its partnership with Koenigsegg after a successful first ride in 2021,” PUBG Mobile said in an official press statement.
“Twenty-seven years after Christian von Koenigsegg set out to build the ultimate supercar, Koenigsegg remains at the forefront of the automotive field, and by cementing its partnership with PUBG Mobile is once again providing players with the in-game opportunity to sit in the driver’s seat of some of the finest hypercars in the world,” it added.
PUBG Mobile is based on PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds), which took the world of interactive entertainment by storm in 2017. Up to 100 players parachute onto a remote island to battle in a winner-takes-all showdown. Players must locate and scavenge their own weapons, vehicles, and supplies, and defeat every player in a visually and tactically rich battleground that forces players into a shrinking play zone.
Through the partnership, PUBG Mobile is bringing back both the limited production Jesko, a Koenigsegg mega car with a 5.0 litre twin-turbo V8 engine capable of producing up to 1600hp; and the mighty Gemera, Koenigsegg’s first four-seater and the world’s first Mega GT.
“From today until August 31, players can obtain both cars with three different colors to choose from,” PUBG disclosed.
In addition to the release of the Jesko and Gemera, a new Koenigsegg supercar will also be introduced to PUBG Mobile–the One:1. According to PUBG Mobile, The new care is a variant of the Agera with an output of one megawatt.
“Also available in Phoenix, Jade, and Cyber Nebula, but with an additional secret color for players to unlock. On top of this, until August 11, players can share the event to get a limited-time speed drift voucher worth 30UC,” it was noted.
