Remember the actress Dina Bonnevie in her youth? The 80s star was undeniably one of the most beautiful faces in the Philippines entertainment industry during her time.

In the Facebook group Memories of Old Manila, one of the members posted a throwback photo of Dina, remembering how lovely she was back in the day.

“Dina Bonnevie (in the) 80s. Siya ‘yong gandang hindi nakakasawang tignan,” Facebook user Sheen Pascua wrote in the caption of the image she uploaded.

The post got thousands of reactions and hundreds of comments taking about the actress’ younger years and talking about her timeless beauty.

Geraldyn Bonnevie-Savellano in real life, Dina’s journey to stardom began when she won first runner-up in Miss Magnolia 1979. The following year, Regal Films launched her to lead star status through Joey Gosingfiao’s Katorse; the same film that introduced a young Gabby Concepcion.

In 1985, she starred in Tinik sa Dibdib with Nora Aunor in the lead. She took home the FAMAS and FAP best-supporting actress awards. In 1986, she snagged her string of best actress trophies from the CMMA, FAMAS, and FAP for Magdusa Ka!

She also made numerous movies for Viva Films such as Sana’y Wala nang Wakas (1986), Alabok sa Ulap (1987), Ang Lahat ng Ito Pati ang Langit (1989), Ang Babaing Nawawala sa Sarili (1990), Kung Kasalanan Man (1990), Gumapang ka sa Lusak (1990), among others.
