Happy 31st birthday to the world’s Oldest Dog Ever!
Thirty-one years ago today, Bobi, Guinness World Records’ Oldest Dog Ever, was born. Things did not go really well at first and he almost ended up being put down along with his siblings.

“In 1992, Bobi was registered at a vet in Leiria, Portugal,” according to Guinness. “Bobi was due to be put down as a puppy along with the rest of his siblings. His current owner, Leonel Costa, was able to hide Bobi and eventually make him part of the family.” Bobi, Oldest Dog Ever, Guinness World Records,Leonel Costa.”
