Whether you are a group of friends catching up, a bunch of officemates having lunch, a boss celebrating with your team, a businessman meeting potential partners or sealing a deal, or simply yourself finally getting your well-deserved treat, you can always pause amid the Metro’s fast-paced city life and relish Kazuwa‘s premium Japanese dining experience complete with elegant ambiance, excellent service, and great food.

Still in its Makati branch’s soft opening period, many customers have found a new love in the restaurant where everything is premium, relaxing, and passionately prepared.

The moment you step in, you will feel the comfort of home as the crew leads you to your seat. Not long after, a waiter will approach your table, greet you with a smile, and serve a welcome salad and a cup of tea, free of charge. In an interview with Traffic Digest, Emer, the restaurant manager, shared that it has always been Kazuwa’s goal from the start to extend Japanese hospitality to its customers.

“Upon sitting, we serve the green tea and our free appetizer. It’s a part of Japanese culture talaga to make one comfortable and welcome, similar to Filipino hospitality,” he said.

Some of the early favorites since Kazuwa’s soft opening period began last May are the 10 types of sushi, sashimi, tempura, and Japanese rice toppings that boast fresh ingredients and unique flavors, making them truly memorable.

And as a welcome gift to its first customers, the restaurant’s early favorites are at discounted rates.

“We have the 10 percent discount,” Emer shared, highlighting that one can save up to P200 with its Donburi Teishoku-Rice Toppings Promo.

Drinks are also on Kazuwa as every serving of food includes a free Spritz, while free Asahi Beer will also be given for every P1500 purchase.

“Upon dining po, meron po tayong promo. Ito po ‘yong Spritz, it’s a carbonated soda with three percent alcohol, free for every order of food. Then, we also have the free Asahi Beer for two, for every P1500 spent on a single food order,” the manager stated.

Meanwhile, aside from the freebies, you can always order your preferred drinks. Blended iced tea, fresh fruit shakes, as well as cocktails and other alcoholic beverages, are all in the choices.

“We have fresh fruit juices,” Emer said. “We also have cocktails, we have an in-house bartender, and imported Japanese whiskeys.”

But apart from excellent service and remarkable dishes, Kazuwa’s premium ambiance and creative food presentation also set it apart from the more common Japanese restaurants in the country, making every dine-in not just about eating but also about experiences and picture-perfect moments—whether you are in a group or relishing your solitude.
