Celebrating the recent release of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero in cinemas worldwide, the popular battle royale game PUBG Mobile partnered with the iconic anime series Dragon Ball.

Through a statement, PUBG Mobile announced a new partnership with Dragon Ball, aiming to give players an exciting gaming experience with a touch of nostalgia, not long after the anime made a comeback on the big screen.

The story of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero revolves around the Red Ribbon Army that was once destroyed by Son Goku. Individuals, who carry on its spirit, have created the ultimate Androids, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2. These two Androids, who call themselves “Super Heroes”, started attacking Piccolo and Gohan.

“What is the New Red Ribbon Army’s objective? In the face of approaching danger, it is time to awaken, Super Hero!” read the film’s official synopsis.

It can be recalled that PUBG Mobile has made various collaborations with other globally acclaimed anime in the past; including Neon Genesis Evangelion, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Arcane.

“Now with Dragon Ball, [PUBG Mobile] will be bringing the world and characters that multiple generations have grown up loving to the vast battlegrounds of PUBG Mobile in 2023,” PUBG Mobile said in an official statement. “Stay tuned for more details on the upcoming collaboration.”
