A stray dog who managed to crawl on a sidewalk after getting hit by a vehicle continues to fight for his life and is in need of continuous medical support.
Being a stray before the incident befell, Lenox is now under the care and custody of Strays Worth Saving (SWS), the nonprofit organization that has also been leading the “P5 for Lenox” donation drive in hopes to afford his medications.
“Lenox was brought to Vetlink Vet Clinic for tests and treatment. Unfortunately, the diagnoses are not good. Lenox has a spine crack, is positive for erlichia, has liver problem, has lung issue, and has hematoma in the stomach. The dog is in pain which maybe why it is not eating voluntarily. Lenox is in critical condition,” the SWS initially reported last March 29.
Nearly a couple of months later, Lenox continues fighting for his life, showing a few improvements and somehow, bringing hope to the ones who have been taking care of him.
“Lennox is still confined and under wound management. He is still weak but is now eating and fairly active. Please pray for his recovery,” the SWS expressed. “To those who can share with Lenox’s vetting and recovery, we will deeply appreciate it. Thank you and God bless.”
