At last, after all the rental dilemmas, a pet owner and his dogs are now living comfortably in a house they can call their own—thanks to his unwavering love for them, the fur babies who have been there for him through thick and thin.

In recent years, fur dad Jerry Connor struggled to find a rental space that allows tenants to move in with their pets. During those situations, the only option was to let go of his dogs and live alone.

But giving them away was never included in the choices for Jerry. He would rather leave that place than take them to a shelter or a pound, or have them adopted by a stranger.

Maria, Bulacan,” he wrote as he shared a photo of their house in the Facebook group DOG LOVERS PHILIPPINES.

In an interview with Traffic Digest, Jerry said he believes fur babies are family members and that having a pet is a life-long commitment.

“Kung nagbabalak pa lang h’wag na ituloy kung hindi mapapanindigan,” he advised people who are planning to adopt a fur baby.

But while a lot of people praise him for always prioritizing the welfare of his pets, Jerry shared his fur babies are his true heroes, saving him during his darkest hours; especially at the time he was deeply devastated after his ex, who gave the dogs, left him.

“So now, walang iwanan!” he told them.
